Simulation of Biological Wastewater Treatment in Aerotanks with Moving Biocenosis

Purpose. The main purpose of the article is to develop a numerical model for analysis process biological wastewater treatment in reactor with mobile biocenosis. Methodology. For mathematical modeling moving biocenosis, hydrodynamic non-viscous vortex-free flow used. We calculated boundary conditions equation on surfaces bioreactor, solid walls, and upper surface; at inlet boundary; outlet from building. To calculate movement activated sludge substrate mass transfer used, which takes into account convective-diffusion sludge. water purification that part bioreactor where there are no biocenosis carriers will be based Monod model. basis an empirical three stages. first stage determined using Harremoes At second stage, rate «consumption» biofilm calculated. third change concentration zone located due convective movement, diffusion its destruction carriers. chaotic motion modeled parabolic equation.
